Treatment of Children and Babies

Paediatric osteopathy is the treatment approach best suited at this stage of life. It can produce significant change in the body of a child using gentle osteopathic techniques. Osteopaths who do this kind of work should have had a comprehensive training in paediatric osteopathy. This is usually undertaken at a post-graduate level and takes two years to complete at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London.

Paediatric Osteopathy is an effective treatment for childhood ailments particularly as young children are not necessarily suitable candidates for medication. The OCC defines paediatric osteopathy as being based on the principle that all ailments - whether minor or serious - are as a result of an imbalance somewhere in the network of the body's systems.
